On May 1, the Juanita Regional Choir held a concert featuring choirs from Juanita High School, Finn Hill Middle School, Keller Elementary, Juanita Elementary, Muir Elementary and Thoreau Elementary.
Recognition from State Board of Education, Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Educational Opportunity Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee
Redmond, Wash. – The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has announced that 20 different LWSD schools have been recognized through the Washington School Recognition Program for the 2023-24 school year.
Redmond, Wash. – Twenty Lake Washington School District educators achieved or maintained their National Board Certification®, as announced by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). Nine educators were certified for the first time and 11 educators maintained their certification this year.
Students should arrive at school between 8:25 and 8:35. The bell will ring at 8:35. Afternoon Dismissal will be at 3:10.
This year, elementary students from 22 different LWSD schools will be engaged in a program that aims to engage students in reading. The Amazing Reading Challenge kicks of the week of February 6 with in-school challenges.
